Using photo apps at Camera Obscura

Here at Camera Obscura, we always encourage everyone to take lots of photos, and we especially enjoy trying to make them a bit different and unique.

Which is why we have been experimenting with a couple of apps you can get for your phone.

The first one we tried out was Cartoon Camera, which gave us some great shots like these…

The other app we used was one called Pixlr-O-Matic which we used to get shots like these…

What do you think? We used a Samsung Galaxy SII phone to get these shots.

But, please do try these apps (and any others) out for yourselves whenever you are at Camera Obscura!

Pixlr-O-Matic is available for both the Apple App Store and on the Google Play Store

Cartoon Camera however is only available on the Google Play Store however we’re sure there’ll be something similar in the Apple Store! Both are available free of charge as well.

Of course, please do share your photos with us as well, whether it be on Facebook, Twitter and of course Flickr!

  1. We’re a group of volunteers and starting a brand new scheme in our community. Your web site offered us with valuable info to work on. You have done a formidable process and our whole neighborhood will probably be grateful to you.

  2. First of all, great looking site you have here and great post too. I would like to keep up with your posts but having problem subscribing to your rss.

  3. hm… i’m sorry for being a little boring but i think your site would look slightly better and a little more easy on the eyes if it got more of a brown feel to it, but that’s only me. wonderful article anyhow! 😛 Best regards.

    • Thanks for the comment. We tried to find a background that reflected the attraction and we thought a blown up photo of the “Infinity Corridor” helps to achieve that. I’m sorry it’s not easy for your eyes, but thank you about the article itself! It was fun experimenting with different photo apps 🙂
