Trick or Treat at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions

Come along to discover Edinburgh’s oldest visitor attraction this Halloween and prepare to have your mind-boggled with our weird and wonderful illusions and trickery. From 24 – 31 October, Camera Obscura & World of Illusions will be decorated with all things spooky, ghoulie and eerie. Our team will be in their most frightening family friendly fancy dress and encourage you to come along in yours!

During your visit take part in our pumpkin scavenger hunt and have your face painted free of charge on Friday 26th 1pm-5pm and Saturday 27th 2pm-5pm from our witches and warlocks in our gift shop. Our gift shop also has a fantastic range of spell-binding books, Harry Potter wizards merchandise, spiders and rats (not real ones!), for you to browse and purchase.

We have also extended our opening hours until 10pm over the October school holidays!
From the 20th October until 4th November, Camera Obscura & World of Illusions will be open 9am-10pm!
